As a person who uses a wheelchair and needs assistance getting to airplane seat and having personal wheelchair loaded and unloaded – all the airlines have always had a system in place to make sure that I and my wheelchair are efficiently flown and through the whole system as easily as possible. Once my wheelchair was damaged – and promptly reported, new part shipped to me and I was asked if I needed a repair person to install the new part or handle it myself. I have good experiences with Southwest, Spirit, American, Virgin and Delta. Virgin was the only airline however that did not place me to the front part of plane so the shuffle to my seat took a lot of time. I appreciate all the airports and airlines getting a plan together for people with disabilities.
