Communication is Key

I have been traveling in a manual wheelchair for over 20 years. In that time carriers have become more experienced and competent. Foreign carriers are generally better than domestic carriers, but all have improved. If you give them advanced warning and are patient you generally do not have major problems. The key thing is to communicate to them at all stages of your journey what you want them to do. They can’t read your mind.”
