Wheelchair vs. Aircraft

I was flying home from the Richmond Veterans Wheelchair Games and had to change planes in Atlanta. When I got there, I was informed my wheelchair was left in Richmond and was hit by the plane on the ramp. I sat in an airport chair for 2 hours till next plane came from Richmond with my chair. It was tweaked but got repaired by VA. The airlines forgot about me and was left in airport chair. How do you miss a wheelchair next to a plane? Stuck in a chair for hours?
